Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights 'Diwali' was celebrated with the ritual of diwali Pooja. Imparting to the  students the importance of diwali made them more fond of it. Besides this they were explained how to celebrate pollution free diwali. Students prepared rhymes  and presentation related to diwali. The festival was thoroughly enjoyed by students at school.

 

Grandparents Day Celebration

Mukat Public School took the initiative to give a joyful day the Grandparents and celebrate the Grandparents Day. More than 200 students of L.k.G participated in various activities like Group Song, Group Dance, Action Song and Yoga. The grandparents went all delighted and felt special.

   

Teacher's Day Celebration

On The occasion of teacher's day; The Management of Mukat gifted to all staff member a trip to Forest Hill Resort, District Mohali. The visit was enjoyed to the fullest that included spontaneous activities for teacher, camel ride, archery and nature walk. The delicious food served was very satisfying. Overall this much needed break made everyone stress free. All thanks to our management team and principal.

   

Maharashtra

The Class function of IV was held on the 'Theme of Maharashtra'. The function was based on the culture, traditions and vast life of Maharashtra. The marvels of class IV made the audience awestruck with their various performances like Skit on Shivaji, Marathi Song, Poem on  Mumbai, Yoga and aerobics, Dance on terrorist attack,Play on Ganesha and Koli dance.

   

Kashmir

Class V showcased a delightful class functions highlighting the Beauty Of Kashmir.The performances constituted of Play based on Kashmir Heaven on the earth, Yoga and aerobics, Poem and Nukkad Natak. The audience applauded for all performances and for the wonderful group dance.

   

Independence Day and janamashtmi Celebration 

71st Independence day  and Janmasthami was celebrated in the form of special class assembly by the students of class IX and UKG. The celebration included a heart touching  group song, Wonderful dance performance, Play on Gita-Sar, Nukkad Natak on Fundamental rights and Poem on Freedom fighters  followed by prize distribution to the toppers of class VIII, IX and XI for the session 2016-17. 

     

Trip to Mcleodganj

MPS students were given the opportunity to participate in school tour during the summer vacation. This three days and two nights trip was organised for students of IX to XII std. In all 110 students participated in the trip and were accompanied by six staff members. The students visited the beautiful hill stations and participated in various trekking, character building & leadership activities. It was truly a memorable trip.

     

   Splash Pool Party

Mukat Public School organized Splash Pool Party on 27th May 2017 for the students of Nursery. The little ones put on their swim suits and enjoyed the splash activity to beat the heat. Big splash pools were kept in inner activity area of the prep school. Students jumped and romped in the water. The tiny tots played with the toys and enjoyed the fountains. They splashed water at each other. the celebratory music beats at the party made the surroundings more delightful students enjoyed rain dance with the teachers.

     

Kerala

 Class VI showcased a delightful class functions highlighting the treasures of kerala state. The audience was thrilled at the welcome dance that was truly classical with vivid expressions. The Poem "kosish karne walo ki kabhi haar nahi hoti" followed by play on the "Impact of Literacy" encouraged all parents to educate their children well. The function concluded inspiring the parents with all smiles on their faces.

   

Gujarat

Unfolding further the Theme of Incredible India the class VII students selected the state of Gujarat-referred to as jewel of Western India. The marvels of class VII made the audience awestruck with their various performances like play on Amul, Yoga, Song, Garba and Dandiya dance.

    

Summer Fruits Day

MPS organised Summer Fruits Day activity with an objective to let the children know the importance of eating fruits in regular diet. Dr. Kamlesh very interestingly convinced children to include fruits in their diet. The nursery teachers as well contributed in presenting the importance of every fruit. The children enjoyed eating fruit salad in the school.

    

Mother's Day Celebration

The Preparatory wing of our school celebrated Mother's Day with students and their mothers. All the Kids were involved in card making and decoration for gifting it to their mothers. Besides making cute and meaningful cards the celebration also included dance performances, recitation of rhymes and group singing by L.K.G and U.K.G students. Mothers participated in various activities like  Rangoli, Salad Making, Flower Arrangement , Solo Dance and Catwalk. In all the celebration was the best way to pay tribute to mothers.

   

Incredible India

The Mukatians of Class VIII presented a marvellous class function on the theme "Incredible India". The performances constituted of Play based on Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan, Flexible Yoga masters and coversation highlighting the plight of our metropolitians. The audience applauded for all performances and for the wonderful group dance on Jai Jawan and Woman Empowerment too.

   

Tooth Brush Activity

We often hear, we must brush our teeth twice a day. To inculcate the habit of brushing teeth twice a day kids of Nursery and L.K.G class were given a demonstration and reasons to brush teeth properly. The kids brought toothpaste and toothbrush from their homes and were taught the correct method and appropriate duration of brushing teeth and preventing dental diseases. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the brushing activity at school.

   

Investiture Ceremony

Leadership  is the capacity to translate vision to reality. The Investiture ceremony of Mukat Public School for the session 2017-18 was held with lot of zeal and zest. The prefectorial body were conferred with badges and sashes by school President and the Principal. The student council took the pledge to hold the school motto of Loyality, Truth and Honour in high esteem.

Baisakhi Celebration

The first special Assembly commenced with Ardaas and paying tribute to the farmers of India. The special Assembly on Baisakhi involved the energetic students of class X who presented entertaining play and electric fusion of Bhangra and Giddha.

   

Orientation Programme For Parents

The session for the Preparatory Wing of Mukat commenced with an Orientation Programme for the Parents. A child Psychologist Ms. Avneet Kaur intreracted with the parents on correct upbringing of children. During the session  She was also able to throw light on some useful tips on effective Parenting. The coordinated session between parents and psychologist was well appreciated.
